Application Developer Lead
Brief Description
As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems. Design continuing maintenance of product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct reviews of requirements specifications, functional and technical design documentation
* Write System Test plans, Test Outlines and other QA documentation
* Design and develop both API (Java, SQL, PL/SQL) and Manual test cases based on functional and technical designs
* Develop and maintain automated test scripts and API test suites to support regression testing
* Execute API, manual and UI automation tests; participate actively in unit testing, system testing, and regression testing
* Evaluate quality risk for product changes/fixes and propose test cases to address risks for test project plans
* Collect, Assess and evaluate code coverage
Job Requirements:
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. A minimum of three years of software engineering or related experience required.
Additional Details
Qualifications:
* Oracle EBS experience is a must
* 1-3 years of QA/software development experience
* Strong technical background, experience in API and Unit testing is required
* Experience in participating in complex QA cycles
* Experience with web and scripting technologies such as JSP, JavaScript, Perl, UIX
* Strong hands-on experience with JDeveloper 9 is a must
* Experience with CVS is also required
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
Technical qualifications: * Java (J2EE platform)
* RDBMS (Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g)
* PL/SQL
* UNIX
Desirable skills:
* Experience with Linux platforms (RedHat 2 or higher)
* Knowledge of Oracle applications implementations
* Knowledge of XML, preferably with coding experience
