(www.e-motionsoftware.com), the Oracle® e-Business Suite third-party software developer, , presented at the Circuit Conference, held at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in the DC Metro area. The presentation, entitled "Giving your employees the service they deserve - with iResolveTM Service Center for Oracle HCM!”, was a remarkable success.
Scott Keohane represented e-motion software and covered topics related to how shared-service centers are structured, the benefit of implementing such a structure for your HR organization and how iResolveTM can facilitate a shared service center organization.
In covering the background of the shared-services concept, Mr. Keohane noted that in recent years, the economic environment has forced companies to look for cost savings in areas that were previously uncharted. This has led to explosive growth in the shared-services arena. In fact, a recent survey from the Shared Services Institute notes that nearly 25% of their recent survey pool had created their shared-services department within the last year.
Mr. Keohane went on to demonstrate how iResolveTM facilitates the logging, tracking and resolution of inquires to a company's shared-service center. He went on to demonstrate how armed with insight to the types of inquires being made, shared-service center administrators can make a financial case for efficacy; educate their employee population on frequently asked questions; and manage work loads more effectively.
The presentation concluded with a question and answer period, allowing attendees to gather more insight in to how shared service centers are created, how they operate and how iResolveTM can be suited to meet their individual organizational needs.
